Overview

You can easily book a court from the PlayTennis Connect app on your mobile phone. This article outlines the steps to reserve a court from the app.

Procedure

Booking a Court for Yourself

1. Log in to the Play Tennis Connect app. 
2. Tap on BOOK A COURT. 
   
   
   
   
   
3. Select a date from the calendar and tap GO. 
   
   
   
   
4. Select a court.
   1. Swipe horizontally on the top row to change your selected court
   2. Swipe vertically to scroll through open and closed time slots
   
   
   
   
   
5. Tap on Book It for the time slot you want to reserve. 
   
   
   
   
6. Fill in the required fields, verify that all the information you entered is correct, then tap BOOK IT.
   
   
   
   

   A	Reservation type: Select your choice between Singles, Doubles, or any other type of reservation
   B	Start time: your desired start time for your reservation
   C	Duration: The duration of your reservation
   D	Name: the name of the player/user (you) booking court time.
   E	Other Players: Here you can add fellow players to your reservation (refer to the next section)
   F	Notes: You can add notes or extra information for yourself or for the staff to see
   G	Book or Cancel

   
   
   
7. A message with your reservation details will be shown upon successful booking. From here you may invite other players to join by sending them an invitation.
   
   
   
   
8. When you are done making the court reservation, tap DONE, and the app will redirect you to the courts page.
   1. You should see your newly-made reservation in green, where you can tap on it to edit the reservation.
      
      
      
      
   2. Invite other players if you want to.
9. To get back to your homepage, tap on the Hamburger Menu, and then tap Home.

Adding Additional Players to your Court Reservation

1. Go to your reservation (refer to Step 6E in the previous section).
2. Tap on Add players+.
   
   
   
   
3. You will then be prompted to add your additional players:
   
   
   
   
4. Here in the menu, you have two options to add players to your reservation: add an Existing Player and/or add a Guest (see the steps for each option in the next sections). 
   
5. Tap the OK button when you are finished adding your guest(s), and you will be redirected back to the booking page.
6. When you are ready to finalize your reservation, tap BOOK IT.

A. Adding an Existing Player/Member to Your Court Reservation

1. Tap on the search bar and type the name of the person(s) you want to add to your reservation.
   
   
   
   
2. Tap on the person’s name to add them to your queue, then tap the OK button.
   
   
   
3. Tap OK.

B. Adding a Guest Player to your Court Reservation

1. Tap on the CREATE NEW GUEST to access the dropdown menu options.
   
   
   
   
2. Here, you will be asked to fill-out the following information about your guest: 
   1. First Name 
   2. Last Name 
   3. Contact Email (Optional)
   4. Phone Number (Optonal)
      
      
      
      
3. We recommend that you fill out your guest’s email and phone number in this step. If you wish not to however, select the check-boxes underneath each field to opt-out of this process (right column).

4. Once you have filled out all of the appropriate information, tap ADD MEMBER.
   
   
5. Tap the OK button when you are finished adding your guest(s), and you will be redirected back to the booking page.
   
   
   
6. When you are ready to finalize your reservation, tap BOOK IT.

Paying for Your Court Reservation

IMPORTANT NOTE: Depending on the settings set by your club/facility, you may either be directed to pay for your court reservation, or book for free. The following steps accounts for the situation where you are required to pay.

You may refer to the article End-User: Setting Up Payment Options in the App for additional information.

1. To finish booking your reservation, tap on PROCEED TO PAYMENT. 
   
   
   
   
2. Select the your preferred payment method, then tap PAY $5.00.
   
   IMPORTANT NOTE: Depending on your member type set by your club, the allowed payment methods may differ from the example image below.
   
   
   
   
3. Congrats! You have just completed your court reservation.
